Nestled within a serene corner of North Naples, Veggie Village inside the St. Monica's Episcopal Church's grounds spanning over a half acre of fertile land. Designed to be a haven for both novice and experienced gardeners, our garden features an array of garden beds, each lovingly tended by members of our community. All though the garden is new it is meant to thrive with a diverse array of vegetables, herbs, and native flowers, offering a bounty of fresh produce throughout the year.
**While St. Monica's Episcopal church generously provides the space, our organization is fully in charge of this vibrant project.
This outdoor hydroponic vertical garden will be located at the outdoor Gazebo at the Lee Health Coconut Point Healthy Life Center in Estero, FL. As we prepare to launch this project, we invite you to join us on this rewarding journey to grow fresh food access for all in our Southwest Florida community.
This garden project will be located in Lehigh Acres, Fort Myers, Florida. Lehigh Acres is one of the largest residential communities in Lee County, and indeed the entire state of Florida. We are thrilled to bring this initiative to such a dynamic and growing area, and we invite you to join us on this rewarding journey.
Our goal for this program is to promote sustainable gardening practices, enhance food security, and create a nurturing environment where everyone can learn and grow. By cultivating our own food, we aim to inspire healthier lifestyles and foster a sense of environmental stewardship.
We're excited to announce that applications are now open for two At-Large Board Member positions with the Healthy Earth Organization! This is an incredible opportunity to help steer impactful programs and contribute to positive change in our community.
As a board member, you'll work alongside a dedicated team to shape initiatives like our beach cleanups, community gardens, and environmental education programs.
